Welcome parents and students!! A new school year has begun and I am excited about being part of the Science Lab. Lab is a time for students to review and extend their Science knowledge through hands -on experiments.
Third, Fourth and Fifth grade students visit lab once a week for 50 minutes. During this time we complete full labs that remind students of the Scientific Method. We always start with a Problem statement and complete each lab with a conclusion; and along the way student's collect information, form a hypothesis, test, observe and record their data. Finally lab is completed asking student's key questions regarding what they have learned.
Students will be completing labs that will take them through all Science areas: Physical Science, Earth Science, Space Science, and Life Science.
